✅ Permitted Uses

You can use these sounds in your music without paying extra royalties or getting permission if your release meets all of these criteria:

• Independent Distribution: You are self-distributing your music (using services like DistroKid, TuneCore, or CD Baby).

• No Major Labels: You are not signed to a "Major Label" (Sony, Universal, Warner) or a "Qualifying Independent Label."

• Under 100k Streams: Your song has fewer than 100,000 total streams across platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube.

If you meet these three rules, you don't owe us anything beyond what you paid for the pack.

🚫 Restrictions

To keep your license valid, you MUST NOT:

• Use Sounds in Isolation: You cannot use a sample as a standalone sound effect or solo loop. It must be mixed into a full musical recording.

• Redistribute Raw Files: You cannot upload, share, sell, or "loan" the raw audio files to anyone else.

• Compete with Us: You cannot use these sounds to create your own sample packs, loop libraries, or preset banks.

• Use Our Identity: You cannot use the name, image, or brand of "Sounds by 24" or its creators in your song title or marketing without written consent. If you would like to put one of our artists or producers as a featured or main artist on streaming, please contact us for approval.

• Register for Content ID: You are strictly prohibited from registering your song with YouTube Content ID or Facebook Rights Manager. (This is to prevent "false" copyright claims against other producers who bought the same pack).

⚠️ When Do I Need Clearance?

You are legally required to contact us at [email protected] to negotiate a clearance deal if:

1. Any song created with the sound pack hits 100,000 streams.

2. You sign a deal with a Major or Large Independent Label.

3. Your song is placed in a Film, TV Show, or Commercial.
